A new virtual learning service that will offer classes in dozens of different crafts beginning in Spring 2008 is looking for craft instructors. Applications are being accepted through August 31st.
My Creative Classroom is pitching itself as essentially a marketing group for instructors, with limited central control by the group over the content of courses. Instructors will have greater freedoms than they might have elsewhere in cross-marketing other products or services that they might have an interest in promoting. Instructor income will be determined by class enrollment, with teachers paying a flat monthly fee to the group plus a “percentage of classroom revenue”.
