Finally there is some good news for the former subscribers of PaperKuts magazine who were still owed issues on their subscriptions. It appears that Memory Makers has acquired these subscriptions from the defunct publication for their own magazine. No formal announcement has been made by either party regarding the terms or even existence of this arrangement, but in the past week former PaperKuts subscribers have begun receiving postcards from Memory Makers informing them of the arrangement. PaperKuts subscribers who already have Memory Makers subscriptions are having their subscriptions extended by the number of issues they were owed by PaperKuts.
While no recent public statements from any representative of PaperKuts have been made regarding any possible future of the company, it can be reasonably inferred from the transfer of arguably their largest remaining asset – their subscriber base – that the company will not be attempting to restart it’s operations.
So once again, farewell PaperKuts. And thank you Memory Makers for reaching out to the subscribers who were left owed by their sudden disappearance.

Great news for PK subs – thanks for letting everyone know.
good for MM! I’m sure this will make a lot of people happy
I was so glad to hear about this.
I’m so happy! I was still owed about a year and a half of magazines from Paperkuts. I really hope that MM contacts me soon (since I live in the Netherlands, it was quite an expensive subscribtion I lost). MM THANKS!!
Thanks Nancy for the information! I contacted MM after receiving your response to my earlier comment and they did honor my PK subscription even though PK didn’t send MM my information! They said that some people got lost in the shuffle so don’t wait for MM to contact you, call them directly yourself!
