Letting the Zine out of the bag….

After working on a project for months that has required me to keep quiet during its development, I am pleased to finally be able to let my readers in on the secret! I am very proud to be a part of what I believe will be a wonderful tool and resource for designers in all areas of the craft industry.

Announcing…DesignerZine, an online magazine and website committed to helping professional craft designers succeed in their design work and in their businesses!

A formal announcement will be up on the website (www.designerzine.com) tomorrow explaining the full depth of the project and registration will open to the designer public on February 6th… Many DesignerZine staff members will be at CHA and the Designer Dinner there to spread the word about the project and provide more information to anyone who is interested in learning more about this exciting project. Efforts will also be made to make more information available through various online avenues to those unable to attend CHA, so the stay-at-homes like myself won’t be left out!

DesignerZine is truly intended to be a resource for craft designers at all levels and areas of the industry. Founding Editor, R. Lynn Baker, has assembled an astounding staff that I am honored to be a member of:

Amy Alvis
Stephanie Barnard
Daniel R. Boone
Kitty Foster
Leslie Frederick
Maria Gallardo-Williams
Michelle Held
Jan Hicks
Mike Hicks
Jill Jones-Lazuka
Margert Ann Kruljac
Wendy McKeehan
Nancy Nally
Angie Pedersen
Michele Skinner
Carla Sylvester
Stephanie Vetne

It has truly been a delight and a wonderful learning experience working with this talented group the past few months and I look forward to sharing the results of our efforts with you soon!
