Just because a handful of people that stay current on the trends don’t like those products, doesn’t mean they are not selling. Disney would definitely take a look at their marketing strategy if they weren’t profiting hand over fist! Remember, one woman’s trash is another’s treasure. My lss sells LOTS of things that I wouldnt even buy for the dog, LOL.

Are any of those products from EK Success? Have you seen the new Disney products from EK Success? EK Success somehow managed to garner exclusive rights to making scrapbook goodies with Disney themes. They are wonderful and elaborate.
While I admit that the items you displayed are old school, remember that they are targeting the general population of scrapbookers that spend less than $1500-2000.00 a year on supplies. AND, they are likely targeting people who may only scrapbook their Disney trip. Many LSS’s will tell you they have people coming in to get the yucky stickers and die cuts that seasoned scrapbookers hold their noses up to. Unfortunately, there’s a huge spectrum of scrapbookers which requires a large spectrum of type and quality of goods.
Either way, I agree that what you showed was not sexy at all!!!

Just getting back from Disney in February I too was soooo disappointed! I picked up the mickey head paper clips too that was it! I’m more impressed with EK’s new Disney line. I think I know own one of everything from that line including the Mickey Album. Great TOPIC!

So true Nancy, so true. I have always wondered why Disney (the company that wants to make money for everything)has not done more to break into the Scrapbooking world. I mean, Sandylion and Jolee’s have much better stuff. Since we live here and go to Disney a lot, I have often been frustrated about it. But I will say one thing, there is a ton more stuff on the market now, then there was in 2002. We did a huge Disney family vacation and it was very hard to find anything.
